Summary
The value of pension funds managed by the portfolio of stocks makes their decisions have a significant impact on the current functioning of the Polish stock market. The involvement of pension funds on the stock market can function as a stabilizing situation on the market, which is crucial for the stability of the financial system especially in times of global economic crisis. Aim of this paper is to analyze the share portfolio of open pension funds and a projection of the capital investment of pension funds on the WSE in the light of proposed changes in the regulation of funded pensions in Poland.
