THE ECONOMIC CRISIS AND MIGRATIONS
Summary
The purpose of this article is the presentation of analysis results concerning the impact of the current economic crisis on migrations in Poland and other countries of the European Union. The first part analyses the impact of the crisis on transformation in flows of ppulation both in Polnad and worldwide. The second part examines the situation of immigrants in the labour market in the Polish and EU economies. The last part presents the effects of the crisis on the scale and dynamics of migrant remittances globally, as well as in Poland and in the EU countries. In the end of the article there are shown similarities and differences in the impact of the crisis on migrations in Poland and in the European Union.
