THE METHODOLOGY OF SPATIAL ALLOCATION OF HOSPITALS IN THE REGION
Summary
The paper addresses the problems related to the location of hospital facilities. Given the unsatisfactory situation in Poland in this respect, it has been shown how to use the achievements of the allocation and location theory in planning of the location of hospitals and other healthcare facilities in the region. Several decision models have been developed and a selection of best solutions has been suggested within the operational research.
