Streszczenie:
Celem artykułu jest przybliżenie istoty nowoczesnego rozwiązania wykorzystywanego do zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem, jakim są narzędzia klasy Business Intelligence. Przedstawiono statystyczne dane, obrazujące stan zaawansowania polskich przedsiębiorstw, w tym z branży górniczej, w techniki i technologie ICT. Przybliżono też istotę działania narzędzi BI. Zaprezentowano także różne rodzaje rozwiązań informatycznych, jakie są wykorzystywane w przemyśle wydobywczym.

Business intellige – opportunity to improve the condition of the Polish mining industry

Abstract:
The paper presents the conception and application of modern solutions used to manage the company - Business Intelligence. There are present the statistical data showing the development of usage ICT in Polish enterprises, including the mining industry. There is also presents the different types of solutions that are used in the mining industry.
