Streszczenie:
W niniejszym artykule Autorzy starają się udowodnić tezę, iż GPW w Warszawie traci w ostatnich latach stopniowo na znaczeniu, ulega marginalizacji, zmniejsza się jej atrakcyjność i efektywność. W tym celu korzystają z analizy porównawczej dotyczącej zmian wartości indeksu akcji GPW oraz giełd niemieckiej i nowojorskiej – w latach 2010–2015. Dla poparcia wyników tej analizy zobrazowano zmiany trzech podstawowych indeksów branżowych – WIG-budownictwo, WIG-spożywczy oraz WIG-telekomunikacja. Pokazano również wpływ reformy OFE na spadek obrotów na giełdzie.

WARSAW STOCK EXCHANGE – THE INCLINED PLANE
Abstract:
In this paper, the authors try to prove the thesis that the Warsaw Stock Exchange in recent years has lost its importance, has been subjected to marginalization and has lost its attractiveness and effectiveness. To prove that the authors use a comparative study on the changes in the value of an equity index located both on Warsaw, Garman and New York Stock Exchange in the years 2010–2015. The results of this analysis are supported by the presentation of the changes of three basic sectorial indicators – WIG-construction, WIG-food and WIG-telecommunications. In the article it is also shown the impact of the reform of open pension fund on the stock market downturn.
