Summary
The State performs its duties through units of the public sector. The public sector should fulfi ll its duties effectively and stably. This is a place and internal audit functions in a system of supervision of the fi nancial sector of the public fi nances in Poland. Internal audit is a perfect instrument of controlling public fi nance. Internal audit consists not only of the assessment of the internal control, but also takes important part in risk management and realization of tasks of corporate governance. The paper presents changes in the domain of internal control between in of the public fi nance sector.
